Hi, I’m May Lin!

I’m a woman, athlete, mother, friend, sister, partner, doula, and life-long learner.

Thank you for being here!

I’ve been lucky to have a lot of really interesting life experiences; some of the highlights include: studying abroad in Ecuador during college (program in ecology, conservation, and Spanish); working at a Children’s Hospital managing a research project in alternative medicine, being a nanny with a family in Italy; student teaching (Biology and Spanish) in a small town in New Zealand; and traveling to other places like Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Australia, and China. I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for the past 8 years, which has been one of the most challenging experiences of my life. Before that, I was a middle school and high school Spanish teacher and volleyball coach.

I feel strongly connected to and draw inspiration from the earth, animals, and nature. In my free time, I love playing beach volleyball, throwing frisbee, baking, singing, and spending time outdoors with my family.

My Philosophy

I am interested in honoring you and what is; not what should be. Life is complex and difficult at times; this is something that needs to be acknowledged and seen.

Through my life experience, I’ve come to believe that understanding and being honest with ourselves is one of the most important things we can do. This allows us to see and hear ourselves clearly. And from there, we can figure out what we need to lead a life that is true to our intention.

Postpartum Support

My passion for postpartum support came from having kids of my own. Through my experience in the postpartum period, I realized how critical support and care was during this challenging and unique time. I’m certified as a postpartum doula through ProDoula, and am committed to providing nurturing, caring, and non-judgemental support to individuals and families.

Health and Wellness Support

I want to help people live the life that they want. Life can be busy and stressful and often we get lost in the shuffle. I can offer support in many different ways, depending on your goals. Some examples: working on self-awareness, more adventure in your life, eating healthier, learning a new skill, exploring meditation, moving your body more, learning a new sport, wanting to be more aware of your thoughts and feelings, being more conscious of how you are in the world (and the list goes on!)

“Bravery is not the absence of fear. Bravery is feeling the fear, the doubt, the insecurity, and deciding that something else is more important.”
