Postpartum Support
Supporting you.
I will be of support to each person in a different way. Offering unbiased and nonjudgemental care, I honor your choices and want to support you in whatever way would be most helpful.
Support.
Postpartum support includes infant care, sibling care, infant feeding support, postpartum recovery support, errands, light housekeeping (laundry, washing bottles, loading dishwasher), and meal preparation.
Infant Care.
As I care for your newborn baby, you will have time and space to do what you want or need. Take a shower, go for a walk, read a book, spend time with a loved one…do something you love!
Rest.
“It's very important that we re-learn the art of resting and relaxing. Not only does it help prevent the onset of many illnesses that develop through chronic tension and worrying; it allows us to clear our minds, focus, and find creative solutions to problems.”
-Thich Nhat Hanh
Body.
Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery are all big transitions for your body.
Our bodies need care and attention during this time.
Food.
I love food! I’m happy to help with meal preparation and planning.
Family.
Postpartum support can benefit the whole family. It is a big shift for any family to bring a new baby home, whether you already have a child at home or not.
